Gurmat Sangeet Vidyala has been founded in year 2004 under the societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860). GURMAT SANGEET VIDYALA is a non-governmental organization based in Sangrur Punjab, non-profit, rural development organization, committed for the empowerment and emancipation of women, children, aged and needy rural masses. It is working in the fields of education, health and community development, with a special focus on underprivileged women and children.
Gurmat Sangeet Vidyala traces its modest beginnings to an initiative to educate a handful of eager children in a neighborhood slum cluster. Later, it extended its commitment to the community at large, through provision of primary health-care facilities. Today, it has an established non-formal education programme, a multi-faceted Health programme.
Gurmat Sangeet Vidyala is a leading organization in skill development & vocational training landscape, building skill manpower pool for industry requirements. The company is also one of the largest skill providers offering training in Various Sectors in IT, Apparels, Cutting & Tailoring etc. Good qualification leads to better Placement & for having better placements, students should have the ability to procure placements. The Govt. has made considerable efforts to enhance the skill of Youth to shorten the gap between demand & supply of skilled workforce. In our country a big part of population is underemployed or unemployed & industry is facing shortage of Labour.
Henceforth, Gurmat Sangeet Vidyala is a unique platform which serves to utilize the skill of youth in a productive manner for their better future & is making efforts to provide training To EDUCATED as well as UNEDUCATED youth to upgrade their skills & get better employment opportunities’ so that they can sustain their lives.
At Gurmat Sangeet Vidyala, we believe that our responsibilities are not limited to Training only. Its scope is much wider. We work through various Scholarships & free seminars to boost the enthusiasm of Youth & we also behave ethically & honestly in all our interactions with our Trainees, Partners as well as employees. We are continuously trying to make better changes over the years & as the saying go “NONE OF US CAN CHANGE OUR YESTERDAY, BUT ALL OF US CAN CHANGE OUR TOMORROW.”
Objectives
- To Develop Technical and Behavioral Skills and Vocational Training among students.
- To Develop or support educational, cultural, and social institutions including but not necessarily exclusively for the disabled, poor, and deserving, all over India.
- To negotiate with and to enter into any manner of arrangements with any government authority whether central, state, local or otherwise or any public or provide body as may seem conducive to the promotion and accomplishment of the objectives of the society or any of them and to apply for/obtain/ collect or receive from any such government authority or body, such grants, allowances.
- Promote “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, “Make in India” and “Digital India”.
- Provide the Vocational Training and Skill Development and Training to needy and poor Women and Children.
- Stationary Distribute to Poor Students.
- Organise the Health Awareness Seminars.
- Organise the Medical Camps and Eyes Checkup camps.
- Organise the Blood Donation Camps.
- Organise Pulse Polio Camps.
- Awareness on Environment.
The major objectives of the Society are to empower the rural women through skill training and education, and assist handicapped people to lead a sustainable life by giving them a skill to earn a decent income.
